Climate and ventilation scope advanced across a coastal destination project.

Engineering for the climate and ventilation systems on a coastal destination project has advanced through design development and into procurement.

Palm-lined resort pool and hotel buildings

Designing for a coastal environment means engineering for humidity, salt exposure, and year-round comfort from day one.

Coastal projects place specific demands on climate systems: high humidity, salt-laden air, and large fluctuations in occupancy. Our engineering reflects those conditions in equipment selection, material specification, and the control strategy.

The current phase has progressed system layouts, load calculations, and ventilation strategies in coordination with the architectural and structural teams, ensuring routes and plant space are reserved before they are built around.

With the design maturing, attention is turning to procurement of key plant so that lead times are secured ahead of the installation window.
